High-Quality Steel Packing Strap

High-quality steel packing strap, as the name suggests, are made from premium steel materials with stringent production requirements. The steel must meet national chemical composition standards, while incoming materials should comply with specified thickness and width dimensions. Surface defects such as iron oxide scale, edge cracks, strip scratches, embossed marks, bulges, or delaminat are prohibited. Coiled steel strap must avoid tower-shaped or loose coils. The surface of high-quality steel packing strapsshould be smooth without cracks, folds, delamination, metal inclusions, burrs, or phosphorus layers. Local minor indentations, scratches, pitting, protrusions, or red spots exceeding 0.08mm in depth are permissible, provided they do not exceed half the thickness tolerance. Side edges may have slight burrs, but their depth must not exceed 10% of the width tolerance. While smaller diameter work rolls are advantageous for high-quality steel packaging strap, excessively small roll diameters reduce rigidity, leading to thinning at the strip edges and difficulty maintaining straight, high-quality products. To prevent overall bending of small-diameter work rolls, additional bending devices are installed on movable intermediate rollers.
